If you're travelling from a country where drivers use the left-hand side of the road, like we did in South Africa, then you may want to ease into renting a car. A popular way to get from Montpellier to Pezenas – Caux's closest big town – is by bus, taxi or shuttle. From there you can rent a car and try out your new driving skills on quieter roads before you take on the busier routes. Of course, if you're a regular right-hand driver, you can hop into a rental at the airport or train station in Montpellier or Bésiers, and make your way to South to South for some rest and relaxation.
Some of the options are:
KiwiTaxi, an international airport transfers booking service, operates from small family cars to minibuses. You can book your transfer online and a driver will meet you at the airport or train station. Visit their website for more information.

Of course, if you want to travel further afield, you can’t go wrong with Trainline, Europe's biggest train and coach app. We have personally used Trainline on several occasions. It’s great. They work with 270 rail and coach companies to offer customers travel to thousands of destinations in and across 45 countries in Europe. So if you’re looking to take advantage of Europe’s vast network of rail and coach services to get around countries or visit popular attractions and cities, head over to https://www.thetrainline.com/en-us/trains/europe
Once in Pezenas, you can opt to get a bus to Caux. To be honest, we haven't yet tried out this route, and it only runs about three times a day which isn’t hugely helpful, but you can have a look on the Hérault Transport website for details. We found these two sites.

Our recommendation is to either rent a car in Montpellier, or make your way to Pezenas by bus, and rent one there. That will give you the freedom to really explore the region that has the most beautiful scenery, historical villages, vineyards and nearby beaches while your sanctuary at South to South awaits your return.
Car rental places to check out are. If we find any more options, we will add them to the list.
